The United States House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic held a second hearing today to delve into just where the China Virus originated from: Animal to human transmission as propagandized by Democrats, the Uniparty, Big Tech, and the media; or leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology. The latter theory, of course was known but suppressed by our own Intelligence Community, Democrats, and Big Tech from the very beginning (see #TwitterFiles).
The Subcommittee is chaired by Brad Wenstrup (R-Ohio) and the ranking member is Coachella Valley’s very own Raul Ruiz (D-CA). The hearing was titled “Investigating the Origins of COVID-19, Part 2: China and the Available Intelligence,” and can be viewed in its entirety here and is also embedded below this article.
Witnesses that gave testimonies were John L. Ratcliffe (Document), Dr. Mark Lowenthal (Document), and David Feith (Document). Ratcliffe is a former U.S. Representative and was Director of National Intelligence for President Trump. Lowenthal, who was a witness called by the Democrat party, held various assistive positions in the Intelligence Community. Feith is a former Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs and an Adjunct Senior Fellow, Center for a New American Security.
Ratcliffe testified in his opening statement that:
“…. First, as to what the intelligence community learned and knows about the virus’s origins and its initial spread, let me state the bottom line up front:
My informed assessment, as a person with as much or more access than anyone to our government’s intelligence during the initial year of the virus outbreak and pandemic onset, has been and continues to be that a lab leak is the only explanation credibly supported by our intelligence, by science and by common sense.
From a view inside the IC, if our intelligence and evidence supporting a lab leak theory was placed side-by-side with our intelligence and evidence pointing to a naturally occurring “spillover” theory, the lab leak side of the ledger would be long and overwhelming while the “spillover” side would be nearly empty.”
Feith’s opening statement concurred with Ratcliffe and added:
…I will describe the terribly damaging effects of our public-health establishment’s efforts to stigmatize the very notion that Covid may have emerged from a laboratory accident. This drove underground discussion of a set of risks – namely those around gain-of-function research – that deserve to be front and center in our public-health and national-security policymaking.
Democrats on the committee mostly tried to divert attention away from the fact that the preponderance of evidence pointed to a lab leak in 2020, perhaps because of the heavy hand their party had in spreading the propaganda and labeling anyone that strayed from the narrative as a kooky conspiracy theorist.
Indeed, ranking member Ruiz, in his opening statement actually tried to give credit for the Subcommittee’s existence to the head of the Biden crime family—no, not Dr. Jill, Joe)—a laughable assertion given the fact that the executive branch does not organize committees in the legislative branch. This is Government 101 and should not be that hard for our Representative in Congress. In addition, as Marjorie Taylor-Greene pointed out, the democrats controlled the House for two years and never showed any interest in the origins of the China Virus, they were fine with the wet market fairy tale.
The other script given to the democrats was the plea that we all need to work together. This sounds sensible until one realizes the manner in which democrats have ran roughshod over the House, breaking long standing protocols left and right, the last couple of years, in order to “get Trump”. The pleas are downright insulting when one considers what the House leadership tweets daily, like a broken robot.
Despite the attempted obfuscation by democrats, the facts ascertained today are two-fold. First, the China Virus was leaked from the Wuhan lab, which was conducting gain-of-function research, which was being funded by Dr. Fauci and others in our government… which means we all PAID for it! Yet, [they] profited. Second, those same people in government conspired to repress any information contrary to the extreme-marxist-tyrannical democrat (and rino) narrative, and to take down any that would dare express counter-narrative ideas.
As a bonus, the hearing revealed that there was China Virus sickness circulating (at least in China) in 2019. I had a terrible flu in December of 2019….
