In a stunning display of gaslighting, California Assemblyman Corey Jackson (D-60) claimed that anyone that opposed his bill AB 1078 (or perhaps his intern’s bill) which would take away the ability of local school boards to keep gay porn out of school libraries, a “White Christian Nationalist.”

Ab 1078, introduced to the Assembly by Jackson in February 2023, would amend sections of the “Education Code related to pupil instruction.” The “bill would require the state board to develop, by July 1, 2024, a policy for local educational agencies to follow before removing any instructional materials or ceasing to teach any curriculum.” In other words, school districts would have to follow a process and get approval from the State to remove courses or materials.

Additionally, AB 1078 would require school districts to obtain State approval “before removing any books, publications, or papers from schools and school libraries.” And of course that applies to inappropriate pornographic material brought to us by the alphabet mafia.

text of AB 1078

AB 1078 is an obvious reaction to the overwhelming public outcry, throughout the United States, to the inappropriate material that school districts make available to students. By extension, since the bill includes courses and instructional materials, it is an attempt to prevent school districts from banning CRT/DEI balderdash as well.

It is an overused tactic by the left that when they have a bad idea (usually) they resort to attacking those that criticize them, rather than win by having an actual good argument. Wherever did they get their playbook?

Assemblyman Corey Jackson, a member of the LGBTAIAXYZ+++ caucus, used the same old tiresome racist ploy to attack Lance Christensen before Christensen was even able to approach the podium. Assemblyman Jackson claims that anyone that wants to “ban” books is a “Christian White Supremacist.” Jackson does not seem to realize these books would still be available to buy anywhere that isn’t a public school, so “ban” should not pass a Facebook Lead Stories “fact check”.

Jackson also attempts to put critics at ease by clarifying the definition of “Christian White Nationalist” using a Kamala Harris-ism…“if the shoe doesn’t fit, then no one’s talking about you.” What are the chances that shoe fits every single person that criticizes the bill? Remember, they claimed that Larry Elder was the “black face of white supremacy”.

Watch the exchange below where Christensen calls Jackson to task for his absurdity:

Perhaps we should turn things around here. If politicians and bureaucrats like the good Mr. Jackson are so against Christianity does that mean they are for the opposite, whose false god (one of them) happens to be transgender?
