As people we share a few things in common. We are physical, mental and spiritual beings. In today’s world the emphasis is on the physical. What gender are you, what color are you, what are your sexual preferences, are you masculine/feminine, are you attractive, where are you from, what do you do, what car do you drive, what clothes do you wear, how much money do you have and more. All characteristics and traits that deal with the physical realm.

The mind is a little trickier because some people attribute intelligence to the level of education you have had. If you are a doctor, lawyer or engineer your level of education is important because as a result of your education you should have a quantifiable skill set. If you asked me to design a bridge I wouldn’t know where to start because I do not have training or experience or the expertise necessary to build a bridge.  Few would argue that what passes for “education” today does not translate into intelligence. If it did, given the number of college graduates we have, we would live in a world devoid of problems because being “educated” would have solved the world’s problems by now.

How many “intelligent” people do you know who lack “common sense”, or can’t assemble a bookcase from Ikea or can’t figure out how “this damn phone works”! You get the point: we make assumptions about people’s intelligence only to scratch our heads when they do something so “stupid” that is obvious to you. Admit it we’re all guilty on some level. What I find the most curious today is how intelligent people can believe something that is simply not true.

Case in point, “climate change”. Yes the climate changes but what impact does man have and can we really control it? Yes and no. (How’s that for an answer) When we destroy the rainforest we affect one of the most important equalizers of the weather on the planet. When we intentionally set forest fires that does add particulates to the air and block out sunlight. But what about volcanoes or fires that occur naturally? They add more particulates, effect the jet stream and sunlight then mankind could in generations. There are people who dispute that but they are simply lying in an attempt to support a narrative that if we drive the right cars, eliminate the use of hydrocarbons and pay more taxes Gaia will be satisfied and my beach front house will be safe. All nonsense but if you repeat something long enough and often enough it will become true. That’s called propaganda!

If you think about it there are many things “we” believe are true that are not true. Among them, God is not real (He’s alive and well) boys can become girls, women can become men and visa versa, the Federal debt doesn’t matter, our voting system is without issues, sea levels are rising, the media tells the truth, the “covid” injection works, masks protect you from getting sick, inflation is a natural occurrence, open borders don’t matter, Ukraine is our problem and we can’t send them enough weapons and money, politicians have our best interest at heart and cow farts change the weather, to name a few. All brought to you by way of propaganda!

So what do we do? This is where it gets difficult, you actually have to do something. The situation we’re in is not self correcting. It has taken decades to get to where we are. Today the deck is stacked against the average (or not so average) person. There are a few (elites) that have most of the money, almost all of the power and control the levers of power. They want more, they are willing to lie, cheat, steal and kill to get it and they’re not asking your permission! Sorry, not sorry, that’s the world we live in and the sooner we accept the reality of our situation the sooner we can do something to change it. There is no sugar coating sweet enough to cover our reality. People don’t want to believe what’s really happening and therein lies the problem. Time to wake up and smell the cow farts and get to work!

First of all there are more of us then there are of them! If just the Christian population voted we would win. I recommend that every believer and leader in a church read “A Letter to the American Church” by Eric Metaxas. This is the definitive book for the time we live in. Regardless of your party affiliation, religion, ethnic background or shoe size, you have skin in the game and need to be involved.

What can you do? The first thing, as I mentioned, is to make sure you vote. Yes the voter rolls are dirty, the machines can be hacked, they flood the zone with phony ballots and so much more but if we all vote we stand a chance. It’s like the man praying to God to win the lottery and God answered, “you have to buy a ticket to win!”

Support a candidate that shares your values. I hate to say it but the democratic party is not the party of JFK or ML King! It has been hijacked by a radical Marxist element that does not have the best interest of the country in mind. If you don’t see that, turn off CNN and MSNBC. Rachel Maddow is not telling the truth. Fox has gone mostly to the dark side as well. There is a lot of great information out there online. Just on my Substack alone there’s two years of information and more on the way. There are a lot of great writers on Substack.

Make phone calls and write letters and emails! Believe it or not politicians and others respond to your input. Write letters to the editor. Follow your favorite or not so favorite politician online and make comments on their posts. Don’t be afraid to engage. In fact don’t be afraid PERIOD! This is the time to be courageous and bold. You will never suffer as much as Jesus did, remember that! Speak out to your friends and family! You will lose some but we are about to lose the only free country in the world. Your loss pales by comparison.

Run for office. Believe me when I say politicians, board members and others are just people like you and I! They are not special and are not better than you. If they are not doing what you want done, replace them! Join a political organization, attend rallies, make your voice heard. Go to school board meetings, city council meetings, county board of supervisor meetings and if you can go to your state government and let them know your opinion. It’s your government, not theirs! You might feel nervous at first but you will get over it! Take your friends with you. You will have fun and feel good about getting involved!

It all begins with being an informed citizen. If your opinions are formed by what you see on TV or read in the newspaper, I hate to break it to you but you are not informed. You have been lied to and manipulated. You need to lean out the window and yell, “I’m mad as hell and I’m not taking it anymore.” Step outside of your comfort zone, expand your horizons and make a difference! This is the time to stand and deliver! You can do it and there are millions who will join you. God bless America!
